Dues Notice

Thank you for your continued support of RIASFAA.

As you have noticed based on discussions at our June meeting, the membership survey and interviews being setup with membership schools financial aid directors RIASFAA is working to re-establish itself as a vital component in the local financial aid industry.   We are working to bring you more relevant discussion topics at our meetings, review and revise the organizations structure / constitution as needed and revitalize / reach out to our members after the continued regulatory upheaval.

At our October meeting we will be looking to form committees around these initiatives.  If you are unable to attend in October and still want to take part in any of these groups please let me know.  I will be sending additional communications on this topic.

For 2010-2011 the board has approved leaving the dues at the 2009-2010 rate of $250.

Please submit the attached invoice at your earliest convenience.

Thank you,
    Jim Olick
    RIASFAA Secretary

Membership Survey

The RIASFAA board is hard at work planning the October meeting.  As part of this planning we are looking to take a step back and survey the membership.  This has been a trying few years in the financial aid industry and we are striving to insure RIASFAA remains a relevant organization.

We will compile and share the results at the meeting on October 27th.

Please complete the survey to let us know what you think and help us plan for the future.

2010 RIASFAA Summer Meeting

The RIASFAA Summer Meeting was June 9th at Roger Williams University.

There was no one interested in running for the President-Elect position.  The board will be discussing options and share next steps prior to the October meeting.
